TSP Engineering are over the moon to announce their success at both ‘The Manufacturer MX Awards’ and ‘The Manufacturer Top 100’ at Digital Manufacturing Week in Liverpool. Digital Manufacturing Week is an annual celebration of UK manufacturing bringing together technology, finance and advanced manufacturing.
Three members of the TSP team were invited to dust of their dancing shoes (after a year or so of hanging in the wardrobe!) and perfect their camera-ready smiles as they attended ‘The Manufacturer Top 100’ ceremony in Liverpool. The awards recognise the most dynamic leaders and innovators in manufacturing. Nominated by the business and judged by an expert panel, they represent the very best of the UK manufacturing industry.
This year the successors are: Dave Metherell (Assembly Team Leader), Neil Cameron (Machine Shop Section Manager) and Sue McCarten (Head of HR & Business Services) – all of whom shine bright every day allowing TSP Engineering to be the world leaders they are.
The following evening was the prestigious ‘The Manufacturer MX Awards’, an awards ceremony that is widely considered as the gold standard for the manufacturing industry and are the only peer-reviewed and judged programme of their kind.
After a lengthy and detailed application process – involving the commitment and knowledge of many members of their team – and competing against some of the biggest names in industry, they are thrilled to announce they took the crown for ‘Achieving Customer Value’. Although all awards are special to them, this has an extra special place in their hearts. The customer truly are at the heart of everything they do at TSP Engineering, they see ourselves as an extension of their business and share their values, aims and goals, so to win this category is a feeling like no other!
It’s no secret that the past few years have been extremely challenging, so for multiple members of their team, along as the wider business, to be recognised feels all the more special. They are extremely proud to fly the flag for Cumbria, SME’s and manufacturing.
