After her win, Amee Flynn said, “I’m really grateful to the amazing people here at TSP for giving me the countless opportunities, exposure and support, which have enabled me to be put forward for an award like this one. To have won shows how much their hard work and dedication to not only developing people but also the business has contributed “

TSP Engineering are proud to be a part of Amee’s journey in engineering, and will continue to support her, and all our employees, in their future goals and aspirations within the exciting sector.

Make UK, The Manufacturers’ Organisation, is the representative voice of UK manufacturing, collectively representing 20,000 companies of all sizes, across engineering, manufacturing, technology and the wider industrial sector. The awards recognise excellence among manufacturing companies in six categories, as well as four Apprentice categories.

The category of ‘Engineering Apprentice: Final Year’ has been developed for apprentices who have done the most to seize the training and development opportunities presented to them during the final year of their apprenticeship programme. The individual will have used their time as an apprentice to develop and widen their capabilities beyond the scope of the apprenticeship, whilst making a significant contribution to the success of the company.

The awards were presented at the North West Annual Dinner of Make UK at The Marriott in Preston, sponsored by Bevan Brittan and Sony. Amee’s success means the journey doesn’t end here! Amee will now be entered into the national awards where she will compete with the winners of the other regions to battle for the overall title.

We are unbelievably proud of Amee and all our apprentices here at TSP Engineering, for all their commitment, dedication and hard work in a truly challenging few years. We have no doubt that Amee, and her colleagues, will continue to shine brighter every single day, engineering the future of manufacturing.
