Following the closure of Garrandale Manufacturing from Derby, MGR Appraisals have instructed by the Administrator of GBM – Manufacturing Limited T/A Garrandale Manufacturing, and other parties, to dispose of the plant and machinery used by the company. GBM-Manufacturing Limited traded as Garrandale Manufacturing from 8 Northledge Business Park, Alfreton Road, Derby, DE21 4BN. The company was incorporated in October 1976 and was a long standing business operating in the rail industry on the production of equipment for railway carriages. The company was also involved in projects including the manufacture of the Hadron Collider and Ariane space probe. They were an active member of the Rail Form Midlands and a key supplier across the entire Rail sector here in the UK.

MGR Appraisals will be holding an online auction of late model CNC and conventional fabrication equipment which opens at 10am on Monday 4 October 2021 and closes from 10am on Wednesday 6 October 2021.
