AESSEAL and AVT Reliability – both part of the AES Engineering Group – have achieved RoSPA Gold Awards, one of the most sought-after global accolades in health and safety. This is the eight consecutive year that AESSEAL has been recognised as a world leader in health and safety, while AVT Reliability has achieved its fourth consecutive Gold Award.
“AESSEAL prides itself on being a world leader in health and safety and we are delighted to have this acknowledged for the eighth year in succession by the RoSPA. This world-class standard can only be achieved with a company-wide commitment to the highest standards. It is also a reflection of our ongoing investment in our manufacturing plants and our state-of-the-art machinery, which help create the safest possible working environments in AESSEAL locations around the world,” said Stephen Shaw, Engineering Director of the Rotherham based AES Engineering Group and AESSEAL.
The ROSPAs recognise exemplary health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The UK’s longest-running health and safety industry awards attract entries from across the globe.
“RoSPA is the toughest health and safety award in the world and we take great pride in having maintained our gold standard for a fourth year. The Covid-19 pandemic has really brought home the importance of having robust systems in place to ensure that every colleague can be assured of a safe working environment,” added Antony Gales, Managing Director of Warrington-based plant reliability specialist AVT Reliability.
“The gold award also reflects our reliability engineers’ contribution to maintaining hazard-free industrial environments when working on clients’ sites.”
“RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day. The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organisations everywhere,” concluded Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events.
