Marshalls works to manufacture and distribute a range of hard landscaping products, minerals, aggregates, ready mix mortar and street furniture. CPM Group is a Somerset based company that sells a wide variety of concrete pipes, containment chambers and other concrete infrastructure products. CPM Group Limited specialise in underground water management solutions. Following this acquisition, CPM Group will trade as Marshalls CPM. It has also been announced that the company will operate under this name, but as a standalone business.
Marshalls has manufacturing sites in the UK and Belgium. The company also has offices in the US, Dubai and China. The company overall employs around 2,200 people. The addition of CPM will increase this number and expand the company. No doubt the acquisition will be beneficial for both companies and allow them to develop and have a successful future.
Marshalls has long seen Water Management as a strategic focus area and this sector is expected to play an integral part in the companyâs long term vision. The addition of CPM to Marshallâs offerings will be incredibly beneficial as it will allow them to offer their customers a range of new products and, in doing so, expand their existing Water Management offerings.
It is thought that there will be economic and cultural benefits for CPM and Marshalls and it will beneficial for the acceleration of profitable sales growth and the extension of access to new customers and markets.
The Managing Director of CPM Group, Mike Stacey has said that they are thrilled to become a part of a well-known hard landscaping company and the whole team are looking forward to see what other opportunities the future brings.
