The Groundworks and Demolition company based in West Dorset has taken delivery of a new 8.2m light steel half-pipe trailer. The impressive new vehicle will be an asset to the company and will deliver an increased level of safety and efficiency when operating in busy quarry environments.
The new half-pipe tipper trailer will join Hansfordâs mixed fleet of vehicles such as excavators and mini diggers. This new vehicle will be used by the company to transport aggregates from quarries located across Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The vehicles in the Hansford Fleet are also used to transport waste from their sites in the same regions. The new Half-pipe tipper will be a valuable new addition to the company.
When looking for a new vehicle, Hansford Construction only considered Schmitz Cargobull because of the high quality of the vehicles created by the vehicle manufacturer. The tipper was manufactured in Gotha in Germany and has a range of features that will be beneficial to the Groundworks and Demolition company.
The vehicle has been manufactured with the highest quality of steel, featuring a 5mm trough floor and a steel top hinged tail gate. Schmitz Cargobull has also used their own specially designed ROTOS axles and running gear in order to deliver bearings that are maintenance-free. The new tipper truck has features a disc brake ventilation system as well as a PVC roller curtain and an electronic braking system which has been added for increased safety.
