ACFO are Encouraging People to Submit Nomoinations for ACFO Awards

With the 2017 ACFO Awards looming, fleet decision makers are being encouraged to nominate their favourite vehicles, initiatives and suppliers’ products and services. The deadline for these submissions is the 8th of September and all fleet decision makers in the industry, not just ACFO members, are being asked to make their nominations sooner rather than later.

ACFO is also promoting tables for the annual awards ceremony which will be held on Thursday 16th November. ACFO members, manufacturers from the motor industry and other fleet industry suppliers are being urged to plan ahead and book their tables for the prestigious awards ceremony.

The awards dinner is usually attended by around 230 people and it will be held again this year at St John’s Hotel, located on Warwick Road of Solihull, Birmingham. This year will be the 34th year in a row that the ACFO awards will be held, celebrating the best of the industry.

There are two different categories for the awards: The Fleet Service Company and Vehicle Manufacturer. The Fleet service category of awards is sponsored by Suzuki GB and covers the awards that are given for Fleet Leasing Company of the Year, Fleet Service Company of the Year and Fleet Safety Initiative/Service of the Year. There are another four awards given as part of the manufacturing category, Small Van of the Year, Large Van of the Year, Ultra Low Emission Vehicle of the Year and Fleet Car of the Year. Both of the Van awards are sponsored by Apollo Vredestein UK, and the Fleet car award is sponsored by Marshall Leasing.

AFCO members and non-members are asked to submit their nominations for the awards by the 8th September, after this, a nomination list will be created and AFCO members only will be invited to select their winner for each of the seven awards.
