The British Standards Institution, or BSI, and LUX-TSI has announced that they will be working together to strengthen their long established partnership within the lighting sector. The strengthening of this partnership has come through the selection of LUX-TSI to become a Platinum Member of the BSI Associate Consultant Programme.
The Programme has been set up to allow customers to utilize continuous investment and expert technical knowledge of LED lighting technology and compliance services. The introduction of LUX-TSI as a Platinum Member of the BSI Associate Consultant Programme is an extension of the partnership that was first formed between the company and the BSI through the approval of LUX-TSI as a BSI associate laboratory which took place in 2015. The lab has been developing the lighting and road traffic equipment that use LEDs.
As part of their agreement to be a Platinum Member, LUX-TSI has expressed their determination to be an LED test and compliance expert that will be able to give UK lighting manufacturers that confidence in their end to end service through the use of LUX-TSI and BSI offerings. With the new agreement that has been formed, LUX-TSI will carry on being a strong partner and will carry on meeting the standards asked for by BSI. The new partnership will also mean that LUX-TSI will will be able to offer trusted testing and certification services to lighting manufacturers while using the BSI Kitemark⢠symbol, a world wide recognised sign of quality and safety for products.
The extension of this partnership should increase confidence within the UK and international markets of the lighting industry. In order to increase the global market access of the lighting industry, it is vital that support is given from world leading certification providing organisations such as the BSI. LUX-TSI can now offer a unique and trusted service to their selected customers within the lighting sector.
