Munich, 23.10.2026 – Once again, a GARANT product has won an award at the prestigious Red Dot Award. The international expert jury, comprising around 40 members, honored the GARANT Cargo Scooter in the Product Design category. This year, the competition received entries from 61 countries. The coveted quality seal was awarded in 52 classic categories to industrially manufactured products with the best concepts.

With the new GARANT Cargo Scooter, Hoffmann offers customers an innovative mobility solution for industry, skilled trades, logistics and facility management. The sturdy cargo scooter combines efficiency, safety and sustainability to enable fast internal transport across factory sites, in warehouses and on large corporate campuses. In modern production and logistics environments, every minute counts: long walking distances and inefficient transport processes create unnecessary effort and increase process costs. The GARANT Cargo Scooter was developed specifically to move materials, tools, spare parts and documents quickly and comfortably over short and medium distances.

With its dynamic yet functional design, excellent ergonomics and practical features – including perforated panels for accessories or GARANT easyFix hooks and holders – as well as an integrated drawer beneath the loading platform, the GARANT Cargo Scooter takes internal transport to a new level.

A particular highlight is the adaptable transport platform. Its modular concept enables the safe transport of tool cases, material containers or custom load carriers. The safety bar can be removed easily for larger items. The robust bamboo platform can also be fitted with mounts for the L-BOXX® system. By installing a drawer module, the GARANT Cargo Scooter can be transformed into a mobile workshop in no time. Its sturdy frame and high-quality powder coating make the kick scooter robust and durable – ideal for industrial use. Large, smooth-running TPE wheels, responsive steering and a powerful foot brake combine easy handling with a high level of riding comfort.

The brake pedal features a non-slip surface, while a U-lock can secure the handlebars. Whether hands are wet or oily, the 2K Haptoprene® grips and ergonomically shaped handlebar ends, including a bell, ensure maximum comfort. The GARANT Cargo Scooter also impresses visually: colored accents and a bamboo platform complement the robust dark tubular frame and add a distinctive touch to its clean design.

Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the internationally established competitions for product design. In 2026, the competition received entries from 61 countries. The award-winning products demonstrate the many ways in which design responds to technological, functional and societal requirements across industries and usage contexts. An independent panel of international experts decides which products receive awards. The panel evaluates submitted products in detail and specifically recognizes work that excels in design, functionality, usability and innovation.
