Returning to the NEC, Birmingham on 16th–17th June 2027, The Distributed Energy Show brings together the organisations deploying flexible, decentralised and low-carbon energy solutions across the UK. Next year the show is expanding once again, bringing together an even broader range of technologies, supply chains and end-user markets driving the future of the energy transition.

Joining The Distributed Energy Show and The Energy Storage Show are four established events: Battery Cells & Systems Expo, Vehicle Electrification Expo, The Advanced Materials Show and The Advanced Ceramics Show. Together, these six specialist exhibitions will create the UK’s most comprehensive platform for energy technology and storage, battery innovations, electrification and advanced manufacturing.

Several of the co-located events already have a strong track record of supporting emerging innovators, from the Scale-Up Accelerator showcasing next-generation battery innovation at Battery Cells & Systems Expo 2026 to the Scale-Up Accelerator launched by The Advanced Materials Show.

Six Exhibitions Under One Roof

From distributed energy systems, grid-scale storage and vehicle electrification through to battery development and manufacturing and the advanced materials supply chain, attendees will gain access to the technologies, expertise and partnerships shaping the next generation of industrial growth. With six exhibitions and seven dedicated conference theatres under one roof, 2027 will be the show’s biggest and most connected edition yet.
