Stagecoach East has welcomed its latest group of Engineering Apprentices, as the bus operator continues to grow and showcase the talent that will drive it forwards and maintain its reputation for reliability.
Ben Wilsher and Sebastian Wojtasinski join the local operator, and, working with Engineering Manager Peter Collins, will aim to maintain Stagecoach East’s reputation for reliability. Last month, the operator announced that it now consistently runs over 99.1% of the miles that it is timetabled to run each week – many of the services it cannot run are due to external factors, primarily congestion.
Darren Roe, Managing Director of Stagecoach East, himself a former Engineering Apprentice, said: “These two have such an incredible adventure ahead of them as they learn their trade and follow in the footsteps of some of our wonderful Engineering Apprentices here in East – we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them on board!
“We put a huge effort into mentoring our apprentices to make sure that they reach their full potential, so I know that our whole team will rally around and support them every step of the way.”
