Optimas International, a global distributor of  industrial fasteners, components and integrated supply chain solutions, will attend the  International Fastener Expo (IFE) in Phoenix, Arizona, from 7–9 October 2026, as it  pursues acquisition opportunities through its Partnership Growth Programme.

CEO Mike Tuffy will attend the show to meet business owners, senior leaders and  advisers interested in exploring potential opportunities with Optimas International, with  particular interest in US-headquartered companies considering the sale or divestment  of non-Americas operations. Optimas International is not seeking to acquire operations  that trade within the Americas markets, only those with an established presence across  the UK, Europe and APAC.

Launched earlier this year, the Partnership Growth Programme is Optimas  International’s commitment to acquiring established specialist engineering and  industrial distribution businesses. The company is particularly interested in businesses  serving the off-highway and HGV, semiconductor capital equipment, power and energy,  infrastructure and construction, industrial equipment and automation, aerospace,  defence and marine sectors.

“IFE brings together business owners and leaders from across our industry, making it an  ideal environment to have these conversations,” says Mike Tuffy, CEO of Optimas  International. “Having spent four decades in this sector, much of it within a US context, I  understand the practical challenges of managing international operations from a US  base. For owners considering their future, Optimas International offers a long-term  partner with the financial backing, regional infrastructure and operational capability to  build on what they have already created.”

Optimas International is looking for strong businesses that complement its capabilities  and share its commitment to engineering expertise, operational excellence and  enduring customer relationships. Its approach is centred on preserving the people,  culture and relationships that make a business successful, while providing the  investment and resources to support its next stage of growth.

With more than a century in specialist engineering and industrial distribution, Optimas  International brings established market presence, technical expertise and international  capabilities to prospective acquisitions. Many of its customer relationships span more than 30 years, reflecting an approach centred on sustainable growth and enduring  partnerships.

“For us, success is measured in decades, not quarters.” Tuffy adds. “That same  philosophy shapes how we approach acquisitions. We want to respect what makes a  business successful while giving it the support it needs to reach that next stage of  growth.”

Business owners, senior leaders and advisers attending IFE, or those unable to attend  but interested in exploring an opportunity, are invited to arrange a confidential, no obligation conversation with Mike Tuffy by contacting collaborate@optimas.com
