UK-based provider of advanced electronics manufacturing services (EMS), Jaltek, has been acquired by Norautron AS, marking an exciting new chapter for the business. Headquartered in Horten, Norway, with branches in Norway, Sweden, Poland, China and Malaysia, Norautron is an international advanced EMS provider.
The acquisition represents an important step in Norautron’s continued international growth, establishing a presence in the UK while expanding the Group’s advanced electronics manufacturing capacity and strengthening its technical and design capabilities.
“This acquisition marks a natural continuation of our growth strategy. The UK is a highly strategic market, particularly within Defence & Aerospace, and this investment will en- hance our proximity to both existing and new customers in the region. Just as importantly, we see a strong cultural fit between our organisations, with a shared commitment to qual- ity, engineering excellence and long-term customer relationships,” said Bjørn Einar Brath, CEO of Norautron AS.
Jaltek brings extensive design and manufacturing expertise across high-tech and highly regulated industries. The acquisition will also support further growth across both organisa- tions through increased capacity, knowledge sharing and expanded market opportunities.
Jaltek will continue to operate from its existing UK facilities, with its experienced leadership team and employees continuing to support customers locally. As part of the Norautron Group, Jaltek will benefit from additional international resources and expertise while main- taining the quality, service and relationships its customers know and trust.
“After several years of strong growth, we’re excited to become part of the Norautron Group. There are many complementary strengths across our organisations which will sig- nificantly enhance what we can offer our customers, while continuing to deliver the high levels of quality and service they expect from Jaltek.
We’re looking forward to working together and building on the strengths of both busi- nesses as we begin this next chapter,” said Steve Pittom, Managing Director of Jaltek Ltd.
