CTE Advanced Technologies Ltd, a UK-based engineering partner delivering high performance fluid and thermal system solutions for ultra-high-performance vehicles, has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade (2026). The award recognises exceptional international growth, underpinned by more than two decades of engineering excellence.
Founded in 2006, CTE has evolved into a trusted partner to leading global motorsport teams and specialist automotive manufacturers operating at the highest levels of performance. As an active member of the Motorsport Industry Association, the company’s work supports vehicles competing — and winning — at the very forefront of international competition, including Formula 1, the World Rally Championship and IndyCar Series.
Rather than supplying individual components, CTE manufactures and delivers fully integrated systems — including complex fluid transfer assemblies exhaust systems and fuel tanks — that perform reliably in the most demanding environments, where precision, speed of delivery and absolute confidence are critical. This capability has enabled the business to build long-term relationships with customers who operate under extreme technical and time pressures, where failure is not an option.
The company’s international growth has been driven by this reputation for delivering under pressure. In motorsport, CTE supports teams whose success depends on rapid development cycles and uncompromising performance. In parallel, the business has expanded into low-volume, high-value automotive programmes, working with specialist supercar and hypercar manufacturers to deliver complex, production-ready systems to the highest quality standards.
CTE’s export strategy is centred on deepening direct customer relationships and maintaining a close presence within its global markets, often aligning engagement with major international events such as the Indianapolis 500. This proximity enables the business to support customers in real time, strengthening partnerships and driving repeat business.
Over the three-year award period, CTE’s overseas sales increased by approximately 60%, reaching 63% of total turnover. This sustained growth has been recognised with a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade for Outstanding Short-Term Growth.
Commenting on the award, Chris Tullett, Founder of CTE Advanced Technologies, said:
“To receive a King’s Award for International Trade is a tremendous honour and a significant milestone for our entire team. Our business has always been based on proving capability through quality and building long-term partnerships with customers who operate at the very highest level. This award recognises not only our export growth, but the consistency, reliability and commitment required to support world-class engineering programmes year after year.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards, recognising outstanding achievement in international trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity. The award is valid for five years.
