Forterro has appointed Chris Fisher as Managing Director for its Orderwise business. Fisher will focus on driving customer satisfaction, technology unification and growth in the mid-market warehouse and logistics sector.
Fisher brings decades of experience in the software industry across different verticals – from fresh produce to building materials – overseeing the evolution of ERPs in mid-market distribution from its outset to the present cloud-based systems. He also has a proven track record of identifying and integrating strategic acquisitions that deliver tangible value to customers.
The hire strengthens the Orderwise value proposition and reflects the changing market. Customers are continuing to become increasingly cloud-based, while looking to unify technology to become much more agile and efficient.
Alongside new leadership, Orderwise are investing in developing new technology to specifically suit customer needs. Over time, as technology develops rapidly, offerings such as Forterro’s Flex Services enable customers to adapt to the changing environment and optimise their operating systems.
“I am leading Orderwise into its next era of growth, working with existing and new customers to power the future of their businesses. It’s an exciting time to join Forterro as we invest in unifying our technologies and building the ERPs of the future, with cloud and AI at the heart of our platform-first approach.” Chris Fisher, Managing Director, Orderwise, Forterro.
