The Wait Is Over: Solis Launches a Residential Battery Range

Solis residential energy storage system - SolisStorage

Solis announces the launch of its complete residential energy storage system, introduced through its dedicated energy storage brand, SolisStorage – a significant milestone in the company’s evolution from an inverter-focused manufacturer to a comprehensive energy storage system solution provider.

While this launch marks Solis’ first dedicated residential battery portfolio, it builds on decades of inverter innovation and the continued development of SolisCloud intelligent energy management. Together, hybrid inverters, advanced battery systems, and intelligent monitoring now form a fully integrated residential energy ecosystem.

A Complete Residential Storage Portfolio

The new portfolio includes:

  • IntelliHome (Wall/Floor-mounted series | 5–16 kWh): Low-voltage wall-mounted batteries for compact residential installations, available in indoor (IP20) and outdoor (IP66) variants
  • FlexHome (Split stackable series | 5–40 kWh): Low-voltage stackable systems with IP66 protection and flexible modular expansion
  • FlexAIO (All-in-one stackable series | 15–40 kWh): High-voltage stackable systems delivering higher operating voltage ranges for enhanced system efficiency

All batteries are built with, long-lasting LiFePO₄ chemistry, support a depth of discharge of 90% or more, deliver over 6,000 cycles, and are engineered to maintain reliable performance for up to 10 years. Natural cooling, CAN/RS485 communication protocols, and the ability to parallel multiple units ensure maximum flexibility, safety, and durability.

Built for Installers. Designed for the Real World.

From compact wall-mounted solutions to scalable stackable systems, the range has been engineered with installer simplicity at its core:

  • Modular expansion up to 40 kWh
  • Up to 8 modules per stack
  • Indoor and outdoor installation options, with a IP66 protection rating for outdoor solutions.
  • Wide operating temperature ranges including low-temperature charging support

By combining batteries, inverters and intelligent monitoring through SolisCloud, SolisStorage now enables homeowners to manage generation, storage, and consumption within one complete system.

“It was only a matter of time…”

Jimmy Wang, President of Solis and SolisStorage commented:

“For decades, Solis has powered homes across the world with trusted inverter technology. Naturally, the market has been asking us one question — when will Solis deliver its own battery? The answer is simple: when we could do it properly.

Over the years, we have worked alongside a wide range of battery technologies across global markets. We have seen what performs well, what installers value, and where systems can be improved. That experience has shaped the development of our own range.

This launch is not just about adding a battery to our portfolio. It is about completing the ecosystem. With batteries, hybrid inverters, and intelligent AI energy management through SolisCloud, we can now deliver a truly integrated and complete residential solution. We listened carefully to installers around the world, they wanted reliability, flexibility, and simplicity – that is exactly what we have delivered.”

Taking the Launch on Tour

The launch of the range will be brought directly to customers through an extensive European exhibition tour, now getting underway.

Beginning in Austria at Webuild in Wels, the tour will move across Romania, Poland and Italy in early March, before heading to the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Hungary. In April and May, the roadshow continues through Turkey, the UK and Spain, giving installers and partners across Europe the opportunity to experience the new wall-mounted and stackable systems first-hand.The European tour will culminate at Intersolar Europe in Munich, where SolisStorage will present the complete residential range alongside its wider inverter and commercial storage portfolio. At each stop, visitors will be able to explore the technology up close, engage with local technical teams, and see how SolisStorage completes the residential energy ecosystem.
