Quattro Elevates its Displays with £200,000 Investment Drive

Quattro Display business support from Elevate Manufacturing

Quattro Display, which operates from a 23,000 sq ft site on South Moons Moat in Redditch, has turned to specialist business support from Elevate Manufacturing Programme Worcester to revamp its digital strategy and boost its export business.

The company worked with a dedicated Growth Manager to identify several hurdles to expansion, using the industry-leading GROWTHmapper diagnostic tool to identify opportunities to upgrade machinery, bridge a traditional skills gap and change its online presence to attract clients from emerging markets.

With a tailored action plan in place, the firm has responded by boosting its workforce by 10% and investing more than £200,000 into several production saws and installing 115 solar panels on its roof.

“Having someone come into the business and take an impartial view of what we do and how we do it, has been really valuable,” explained Ashley Blizzard, Managing Director.

“We are keen to increase sales past £2m and, following the specialist support, we are now in a perfect position to achieve that, especially with our stronger online presence, investment in new video content to showcase what we do and a new website set to launch in the coming months.”

He continued: “It has already led to a string of new wins from clients in the UK and several international customers across Denmark, France and Italy. They all have one thing in common; they want to tap into our single source solution for customised exhibition stands.

“Importantly, we’ve also addressed operational improvements in the factory with two new production saws.

Quattro Display design, manufacture, and install bespoke exhibition stands across the UK and Europe.

It delivers a comprehensive turnkey service, encompassing in-house design, graphics production, and meticulous project management and this has seen it deliver impressive displays for Fujitsu Air Conditioning UK, Panasonic and Makita.

In fact, the company’s portfolio of clients is spread across many sectors, from audio visual and beauty and health to food and drink, machine tools and showrooms and interiors.

Ashley went on to add: “The Elevate Manufacturing Programme is so simple to access and the grant it secured for the development of our digital strategy and website accelerated the project by at least a couple of months.”

Funded by Worcestershire County Council and delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice. Elevate offers tailored support to manufacturing SMEs, aiming to boost productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness through expert guidance, strategic planning, and access to grant funding.

Michelle Connor, Programme Manager, continued: “We have been able to work with Quattro Display to explore new and emerging markets with the support of digital marketing.

“Its journey exemplifies how targeted support and strategic planning can empower SMEs to overcome growth barriers and realise their ambitions. In fact, it’s a story that serves as an inspiration for other manufacturing businesses seeking to elevate their operations and broaden their horizons.”

Councillor Jo Monk, Leader of Worcestershire County Council, concluded: “Quattro

Display is a great example of how the right support can unlock real growth. Its

journey shows just how powerful tailored business advice and funding can be.

“I’d strongly encourage other local manufacturers with big ambitions to explore the

Elevate Manufacturing Programme – the expert guidance and grants available can

help businesses scale up, innovate, and compete with confidence on the global

stage.”
