Taiwan will take centre stage at MEDICA 2025 as one of the world’s most dynamic drivers of medical technology innovation. With advanced solutions in AI assisted surgery, precision medicine, and personalised care, Taiwan continues to strengthen its role in the global healthcare landscape. More than 250 companies from Taiwan are exhibiting at MEDICA 2025, presenting state of the art technologies to a global audience. Among them, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion (Hall 16, Booth B-13) serves as a central showcase where 15 award winning companies will present 23 MedTech innovations recognised for technological excellence and real world healthcare impact.
The latest developments will be unveiled at the press conference “Taiwan’s MedTech Revolution: AI, Precision, and Personalised Medicine” on the opening day of MEDICA, November 17 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion. Organized by the International Trade Administration of Taiwan (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the event offers media and trade visitors exclusive insight into solutions shaping the future of patient care worldwide. Taiwan’s rapid rise in the global healthcare technology sector is fueled by a strong digital health infrastructure, comprehensive clinical data resources, and leading expertise in artificial intelligence and high-precision engineering. International partners increasingly turn to Taiwan for next generation solutions that address real clinical needs and enable more efficient, accessible care systems.
During the press conference, four companies will take the spotlight to demonstrate innovations spanning surgery, diagnostics, and rehabilitation. Medimaging Integrated Solution (Miis) leverages advanced optical design and AI technology to enhance medical imaging and diagnostic precision. EPED advances minimally invasive care with a navigation system that enables real time instrument tracking across neurosurgical, ENT, and oral procedures. V5med stands out as one of the few Asian AI device developers to earn U.S. FDA approval for lung-cancer image detection. SHENNONA strengthens rehabilitation pathways through a cloud connected body composition analysis system that monitors shoulder function and provides clinicians with a clear view of recovery progress.
MEDICA 2025 will take place from November 17 to 20, 2025, at Messe Düsseldorf. For more information about all the award-winning products on display at MEDICA, please visit www.twexcellence-medica.com.
