ecoke, the hybrid biocarbon solution developed by CPL Products, part of Invica Industries, has been  awarded the Energy & Sustainability Award at the Make UK Manufacturing Regional Awards 2025.

This latest success follows ecoke’s recent recognition at the Green Awards UK 2025, where it  received The Green Transformation Award, further underscoring its growing reputation as a  pioneering force in sustainable manufacturing and industrial decarbonisation.

The Energy & Sustainability Award celebrates UK manufacturers who demonstrate measurable  achievements in energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and environmental innovation across their  operations and supply chains. The award serves as an external validation of Invica’s ongoing efforts  to provide practical, scalable solutions that help industries transition toward reduced carbon  operations while maintaining reliability and performance.

A distinguished panel of judges commended the demonstrable impact ecoke is having across the  wider manufacturing landscape, acknowledging its potential to transform carbon-intensive processes  and accelerate the shift toward more sustainable industrial practices.

Comment from Invica Industries

“Winning the Energy & Sustainability Award from Make UK means so much, not just for me, but for  the incredible team of people who make this work possible every day. More than anything, it  demonstrates our work is being heard, sustainability matters, progress is happening, and together, we  really can make a difference.” said Kayleigh Beardow, Communication Manager at Invica  Industries.

Looking ahead:

Following its regional success, ecoke will now progress to the Make UK National Awards, taking place  in January 2026 at the Gala Dinner in London, where national winners will be announced.

As Invica continues to expand the reach and impact of ecoke, the company remains focused on:

• Developing new industry partnerships and pilot projects.

• Maintaining the highest possible sustainability standards

• Helping its customers upgrade and utilise fines and other off spec materials to increase  efficiency and reduce waste

• Scaling production across its 500,000-tonne manufacturing network to meet growing market  demand.

In addition to this achievement, ecoke has also been shortlisted for the Waste Management Energy  Innovation Award at the MRW National Recycling Awards 2025, hosted in November, further  demonstrating its growing recognition within the sustainability and manufacturing sectors.
