This year, a product from the GARANT brand once again won an award at the prestigious Red Dot Award. The 43-strong international jury of experts recognised the GARANT electronic torque screwdriver HCT in the “Tools” category. Applicants from 60 nations took part in the competition. The coveted quality seal is awarded to industrially produced products with the best designs in 51 standard categories.
The GARANT electronic torque screwdriver HCT impressed with its well-thought-out design, intuitive operation and ergonomic handling. The product stands out for its light weight, the 360° rotating display and the visual, acoustic and haptic measuring signals (colour display, LED ring, vibration of the handle). The tool also features Bluetooth® wireless technology[1] and a wide range of functions for screw fastening, storing and easy documentation of screw tightening profiles – all with the highest precision. There is no need for time-consuming and error-prone manual transfer of measured values.
The digital connectivity of the GARANT electronic torque screwdriver HCT is particularly innovative. HCT stands for Hoffmann Group Connected Tools and is the platform for digitising your measurement processes. Measurement data is automatically transferred to smartphones, tablets or computers via Bluetooth, making workflows much more efficient. This allows the GARANT electronic torque screwdriver to be connected to other HCT products and is also reflected in a standardised UX design.
