The latest MGO series from the global planetary gearbox specialist has been optimised for high axial and radial loads, making it ideally suited to robotics, heavy-duty automation and CNC machine tools. MGO series: The ideal solution for high load applications
Combining extra high torque with high efficiency and optimised inertia moment, the MGO range from Apex Dynamics is ideal for a wide array of potential applications that require precision and reliability for high axial and radial loads. These include industrial and mobile robots for tasks like assembly, welding and material handling; packaging machinery for controlling the movement of conveyor belts, cutters and sealers; printing presses for precise control and alignment; cranes, hoist and conveyor systems for high precision, reliable movement and positioning of heavy loads; and in-flight simulators and aircraft control surfaces.
The robust MGO gearboxes provide high torsional rigidity and long-term persistence of low backlash to ensure high performance and precision throughout their long service life. With ratios from 4-10,000, the MGO series comes in a range of different sizes with a max input speed of up to 7000 rpm. Additionally, the MGOH range has extra high torque (typically 25% more than the standard MGO gearboxes) for higher loads.
Drop-in replacement, easy installation, and complementary rack & pinion systems
With these new ranges, Apex Dynamics once again demonstrates its impressive ability to introduce drop-in replacements for leading competitors’ products, ensuring customers find it simple to transition to high performance precision solutions. Easy to install and adjust because of enlarged holes on the flange, the hypoid right-angle K-series provides identical input-output rotating direction, and customers can select from Standard Flange or patented Curvic Output options. Adjustable curvic coupling provides high torque transmission, automatic concentricity and zero backlash through all-teeth-coupling between pinion and gearbox.
