Inventor of the world’s only multi-piece rubber Runflat system, Tyron Runflat, has attended one of the largest defence shows in the world which is held biennially in the UAE, IDEX 2025.
Supporting Tyron’s commitment to excellent customer and partner engagement, the business attended the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX), which is the defence industry’s leading show, to share its expanding product range with potential customers from across the globe.
New products and innovations in Tyron’s range include latest range of single piece runflats.
Mohamed Elnady, Business Development Director at Tyron Runflat, who attended the event in Abu Dhabi said it was the busiest and most engaging industry show he’d been to and was met with interest for Tyron Runflat from regions such as the Middle East and Africa.
Mohamed commented: “Any opportunity to get in front of our partners and customers and have detailed conversations about the scope and potential of our unique product is valuable. This latest show allowed us to forge new connections that hold promise for a number of business opportunities. With strong connections in the Middle Eastern and Asian markets, this event was a fantastic opportunity to understand new and established companies’ business dynamics and meet influential players within the industry.
“More than 96 per cent of our products are exported to locations around the globe, so this event was a great springboard for further supporting our international customers and partners. We shared details on our expanded product range and our latest innovations which were really well received, and we’ve fielded four new business enquiries following the show.”
IDEX 2025 marked a historic milestone as the largest and most influential exhibition to date, bringing global defence leaders, cutting-edge innovations and strategic collaborations together under one roof. With over 206,000 visitors, 1,565 exhibitors, groundbreaking deals and live demonstrations, the event is positioned as the world’s premier defence exhibition.
Mohamed added: “We’re proud to showcase our products to valued customers across the globe. Our products are supplied throughout the world for the police force, fire and ambulance services plus military armed vehicles, civilian cars and leisure vehicles, plus commercial vehicles.
“Following a number of new partnerships, we recently expanded our purpose-built manufacturing and testing facility near Pattaya, south of Bangkok in Thailand to meet growing demand. This latest investment has been a huge step for us as it more than doubles our production capacity and the size of our team is set to increase three-fold this year. We have also taken bold steps to prioritise our team investment as we recently welcomed Beata Sleightholme to the team as an experienced Logistics and Administration Operative.”
Established in 2001, the Leicestershire (UK) headquartered business has made it their mission to provide reliable and cost-effective tyre safety solutions. For example, the Tyron MultiBand locks the tyre onto the wheel rim in the event of a blowout, preventing catastrophic loss of control, giving the driver and passengers the ability to get to a safe location.
Looking to the future, the team encourage partners and customers to visit their next exhibition stand in September at DSEI UK, held at Excel, London.
