The Light Show Gets Three More Years At Autumn Fair

An agreement has been signed to run the The Light Show, an Autumn Fair event, for another three years. The Lighting Industry Association will continue to oversee the event which welcomes the biggest players in the light trade to highlight and celebrate their various innovations over the previous 12 months. This year’s event will see the likes of  Luxform Global, Firstlight, Ala Lamba, Rasmi Lighting, Dar Lighting, Illuminati Lighting, Bravo, Collectiviste, Impex Russell, BeeArtisan and Emporio Arts, exhibit at The Light Show which remains the only Lighting Industry Association-endorsed event for the decorative lighting sector in the UK. Found in Hall 2 at The Light Show, this eye-catching lighting extravaganza complements the Autumn Fair’s increasing home interiors exhibit. The event already attracts thousands of specialists across retail, contract buying, interior design and specifiers, who each have an invested interest in the latest lighting developments. As days get shorter, the timing of the event couldn’t be better as lighting takes on added emphasis as the number of daylight hours dwindle as we head for winter. That was a deciding factor in hosting The Light Show at the Autumn Fair event. Peter Hunt, LIA chief, acknowledged the success of the inaugural show, noting the “positive feedback” from exhibitors. The LIA, he said, is “proud” to announce its ongoing endorsement of The Light Show for the next three years, with the possibilities to “grow and develop” the consumer lighting industry further off the back of it. Members and potential members have a great opportunity to network and grow, said Hunt. He also revealed that Autumn Fair would carry out a key marketing campaign to generate further interest in the event. The Light Show’s presence at Autumn Fair is ideal for the sector because of the exhibtion’s growing stature as an important transactional trade event in the country. Its success is also increasingly seeing wider interest from Europe.
