Randle Engineering has appointed experienced vehicle engineer Maurice Gloster as senior mechanical engineer, further strengthening its capability in vehicle systems engineering as demand grows across the automotive, defence, off-highway and advanced mobility sectors.
Maurice brings more than 25 years’ experience in automotive engineering, specialising in chassis systems, suspension design, vehicle architecture and dynamics. His career has focused on taking programmes from early-stage concept through to production, combining analytical engineering with practical design and development. He joins from REE Automotive, where he worked on the development of the company’s electric vehicle platform, including modular chassis architectures, suspension and subframe systems. This also included multi-disciplinary engineering programmes aimed at improving vehicle weight, manufacturability and cost.
Prior to REE, Maurice spent more than two decades at Jaguar Land Rover, holding a variety of engineering roles across vehicle development programmes. During this time, he led suspension architecture integration activities, developed digital engineering tools to streamline design processes and contributed to several technical innovations within the business. Among his career achievements is the development of automated CAD and kinematic modelling tools, optimisation of suspension layouts across multiple vehicle architectures, concept design of next-generation electric vehicle platforms and the delivery of production-ready suspension and subframe systems.
